Modern Slavery Act 2015

As a networked, carbon neutral consultancy, Haman Fvnta Group have a zero risk approach to modern slavery and human trafficking, there are no modern slavery or human trafficking effects in our supply chains or in any part of our business. This Modern Slavery Statement reflects our commitment to acting ethically and upholding our corporate management values in our relationships.

Data Protection Act 2018

We have a designated Data Controller and we treat your held data with the utmost care. If we process your data then it’s for marketing and sales purposes only. Generally we do not collect data, we have no CRM database and we believe in the personal touch which means that we do not bombard you with information. If you want to opt out of any perceived data collection then just drop us a note on the contacts page or check the opt out link. We don’t share your data and we don’t sell it either. We don’t store data physically on paper and rare use of memory sticks is encrypted. We make sure information is:

  • used fairly, lawfully and transparently
  • used for specified, explicit purposes
  • used in a way that is adequate, relevant and limited to only what is necessary
  • accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date
  • kept for no longer than is necessary
  • handled in a way that ensures appropriate security, including protection against unlawful or unauthorised processing, access, loss, destruction or damage

We don’t process Sensitive Personal Data such as:

  • race
  • ethnic background
  • political opinions
  • religious beliefs
  • trade union membership
  • genetics
  • biometrics (where used for identification)
  • health
  • sex life or orientation

You have the right to request the following just drop us a note on the contact form and we’ll be happy to oblige:

  • be informed about how your data is being used
  • access personal data
  • have incorrect data updated
  • have data erased
  • stop or restrict the processing of your data
  • data portability (allowing you to get and reuse your data for different services)
  • object to how your data is processed in certain circumstances

Ethics

We have a designated Ethics Officer who ensures that we operate with the utmost care towards ethical considerations. We don’t accept gifts other than low value company merchandise. We allow half a day per week for volunteering on top of our commitment to Pro Bono work for charities. We hope to grow and will be an equal opportunities employer. We have a zero tolerance approach to bullying and harassment which both run against our leadership and management values. We believe that our policies lead our decision making.

Copyright

We have a designated Licensing Co-Ordinator who overseas all of our copyright affairs. We hold a Training Provider copyright license which enables us to legally use material which is copyrighted and which enables the originators of copyrighted material to be paid for their work. Wherever possible we provide references to copyrighted work or signposting to the relevant publication so that both the originator is recognised for their work and our customers can partake in further reading. All work on this site is protected under UK copyright law, please contact us if you wish to use any of our IP or buy a copyright license.

Environment

We don’t use cars for long journeys to reach our customers, we use trains for the most part and taxis for the short journey from the station to the hotel or customer’s site. If we must use paper, it’s recycled or from sustainable sources, we recycle at the home office and when at the business lounge but we generally run a paperless office. We use a shared business lounge area and we donate 5% of turnover to ‘invest in nature’ causes using www.earthly.org These are “…high quality nature-based solutions that remove carbon, restore biodiversity and improve livelihoods”.

Artificial Intelligence

We rate our organisation as ‘minimal risk’ for A.I. according to the EU proposed risk based approach regulation. We don’t author A.I. software and we only use ‘weak A.I.’ programs to create content including text, images and videos. We also use ChatGPT and Google Bard to provide information to aid in our decision making processes.
